Hijacking the Awakening: One West’s Role in Division

A quiet fracture has been growing in the Hebrew-Israelite awakening, and it’s not happening by chance. The cause is deliberate interference. Certain groups, tracing their origins to the One West tradition, IUIC, ISUPK, GMS, GOCC, and others, have pushed narratives that keep our people divided. They stand out in public spaces, dressed in colorful garments (purple for IUIC, black or other variations for the rest) and speak with self appointed  authority  given to themselves by misuse of the scriptures. Yet the deeper pattern reveals something troubling. These groups consistently block unity among the descendants of the transatlantic slave trade and resist any sincere effort to reconnect with the African continent.

The Tool Of Deception: The 12-Tribe Chart

• Promotes Latino and Native American groups as Israelite tribes

• Dismisses West African tribes such as the Igbo, Yoruba, Ewe, and Akan as Israelites

• Labels authentic Israelite bloodlines from Africa as "Hamites"

• Avoids acknowledging that African-Americans descend from these very same people taken directly from West Africa
  

GOCC, despite claiming to be different, follows the same path. They introduce speculative identities such as claiming that Mexicans and Native American Indians are Israel while avoiding the obvious historical truth about our West African relatives. The promotion of these claims does not come from a lack of knowledge. It follows a well-defined plan intended to mislead and divide.

Historical Evidence The Camps Ignore

• Captain Hugh Clapperton (1824): Recorded Hebrew customs among West African tribes

• Joseph J. Williams, Hebrewisms of West Africa (1930): Documented Ashanti traditions resembling Jewish practices

• Portuguese records (1400s): Spoke of Black Jews on the West African coast after the expulsions from Spain and Portugal

• Tacitus, Histories, Book 5: Noted ancient beliefs that the Israelites had Ethiopian origins
  

These records align directly with the experiences and traditions of the West African people. Yet the camps cling to colonial terminology and classifications designed to erase Israel’s true lineage.

The Fruit Of Their Teachings

• Separate African-Americans from their ancestral family

• Undermine efforts to restore identity and unity

• Discourage emotional and spiritual ties to Africa

• Repel allies with hostile behavior

• Offer no strategy for growth, land, or restoration

• Promote strife, division, and confusion
  

These results are consistent outcomes that reveal the core function of the camps. By separating the descendants of the transatlantic slave trade from their historical and spiritual roots in Africa, these groups create a barrier that weakens both understanding and action. Their hostility toward African heritage isolates the people who need to reconnect most. Their failure to provide any tangible strategy for restoration, whether in terms of land, economy, or governance, shows they were never here to build. Their influence continues to spark arguments, fracture unity, and stir mistrust within the community. This fruit is bitter, and it reveals the tree it came from.

Echoes Of COINTELPRO

The behavior reflects the same pattern used by the FBI’s COINTELPRO:

• Infiltrate legitimate movements

• Promote false leadership

• Stir internal conflict

• Destroy unity from within
  

They did this to Marcus Garvey, the Black Panthers, and civil rights organizations. Now it’s being done to the Israelite awakening. Whether loud or quiet, in uniform or in disguise, these individuals play the same role.

What The Scriptures Say

Proverbs 6:16 to 19 tells us plainly that Yahuah hates those who sow discord among brothers. Matthew 7:16 gives us the key to understanding who we are dealing with: we will know them by their fruits. When we examine the results of these disruptive efforts, the pattern is unmistakable. We see false accusations, deliberate confusion, hatred aimed at Africa, ongoing division, and slander against those trying to build unity across the waters. These are not the fruits of righteousness. They are the evidence of sabotage.

Those pushing division have a specific goal. Their aim is to stop the scattered of Israel from reclaiming what belongs to them. That includes their land, their culture, their covenant, and their future. Every attempt to reconnect with Africa poses a threat to the global systems that rely on our separation. That is why the attacks are so fierce. They lie. They twist the scriptures. They use fear to hold us back.

They do not encourage healing. They do not support restoration. They reject the African connection. They isolate their own brothers and sisters. They accuse the innocent. And they contribute nothing of lasting value. Their actions serve to preserve the very systems we are called to overcome.

But their strategy will collapse. The deception will fail. These modern agents of confusion, whether loud and boastful or quiet and deceptive, have one purpose: to keep us broken and disconnected. Yet Yahusha is already gathering His people. We are waking up. We are reaching out across the waters. We are returning to the covenant and rebuilding what was torn down.

Their schemes cannot stand against the truth. The gathering cannot be stopped.
