I coined this term from what I was seeing for myself and our brothers and sisters. I started to post on Urban Dictionary, but once on there, they basically take your intellectual property for their gain. I submitted, it but quickly put in a request to remove it before they posted it.
The psychological response by Negroes (including Diasporans and those on the African Continent) upon learning their true identity as a Hebrew Israelite (i.e., biblical descendent of the children of Israel) resulting in an anger response towards their oppressors. The length and intensity of this response varies per person, which may be impacted by the level of their oppression.
See Exodus 2:11-12 for Moses’s story of slaying the oppressor of “his people.”
Term loosely based on cartoonist Aaron McGruder’s “N*gga Moment”: "A moment in which ignorance overwhelms the mind of an otherwise logical negro male; causing him to act in an illogical, self-destructive manner, i.e. like a n***a." --Huey Freeman, first definition.
Example of how it is used in sentence:
Jason had his Moses moment after watching a video on YouTube.
